Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13 baking dish.
  2. Cook 2 cups of rice according to package instructions and set aside.
  3. Season 2 pounds of chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. Mix the sauce by combining 1 can of cream of chicken soup, 8 ounces of softened cream cheese, 1 packet of Italian dressing seasoning, and 1 cup of chicken broth.
  5. Spread the cooked rice in the prepared baking dish, place the seasoned chicken on top, and pour the sauce over everything.
  6. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 35 to 45 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through.
  7. Uncover for the last 10 minutes if you want a more set and lightly golden top.
