  • 3 cloves garlic Fresh is best.
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese Grated or finely shredded; freshly grated melts nicer.
  • 2 tbsp butter Makes the sauce feel rich.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil Helps the chicken brown without burning the butter.
  • 1 tsp salt To taste.
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper To taste.
  • 1 tsp paprika Optional red pepper flakes for a little kick.
  • 1 tbsp parsley Optional, for garnish.

Instructions
 

Preparation
  1. Cut the chicken into bite-sized chunks, around 1 inch.
  2. Toss the chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Cooking
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium high heat, add olive oil, and place the chicken in a single layer.
  2. Cook the chicken until golden and cooked through (165 F inside).
  3. Once cooked, turn the heat down to medium and add butter to the skillet.
  4. After the butter melts, stir in the garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Sprinkle Parmesan over the chicken and stir until melted and coating the chicken.
  6. Taste and adjust salt and pepper as needed. Add parsley on top if desired.
Serving
  1. Serve right away while the coating is at its best.

Notes

These store well in the fridge for up to 3-4 days. Reheat in a skillet with a splash of water or broth for best texture.
