  1. Slice strawberries and toss them with a spoon or two of sugar. Let them sit for 10 to 15 minutes so they get juicy.
  2. Mix softened cream cheese with sugar and vanilla until smooth, then fold in whipped cream or whipped topping.
Assembly
  1. In a dish, add a layer of graham crackers or cookies.
  2. Spread on a layer of the cream mixture.
  3. Spoon on strawberries and a bit of their juice.
  4. Repeat layers until you reach the top, then finish with cream and extra strawberries.
